After a generous gourmet breakfast from the buffet the next morning, it's off to nearby Heidelberg. The harmonious ensemble of the old town, castle, river and mountains attracts numerous visitors to the Neckar city every year. Included in the offer is a ticket to visit the castle and you also get free admission to the mountain railroad. One of the most modern mountain railroads will take you up to the top to see the entire city area with the mighty Neckar River. The incredibly beautiful Baden-Württemberg shows its best side here. Parts of the venerable and imposing structure even date back to the 12th century. However, the magnificent building is widely known for its radiant facades from the Renaissance. On top of the Königsstuhl there are several hiking trails, a fairy tale paradise for children and even a falconry. Use your excursion to see even more of Heidelberg.
